Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy the intricate design of our forty-five holes. With magnificent views, scenic waterways and a challenging layout, Admirals Cove is recognized as one of Florida’s best private golf country clubs. The USGA has awarded Admirals Cove the honor of hosting the US Open Qualifier for more than a decade.

East Course

Our 18-hole East Golf Course was crafted by legendary golf course designer Robert von Hagge, whose unique mounding and creative green complexes are both challenging and remarkably playable. The golf course winds throughout the community, criss-crossing the 6 miles of scenic waterways and our members claim that you can’t help but improve your golf game just by playing it.

Golf Village

We call the western part of Admirals Cove “Golf Village” because its landscape is dominated by three 9-hole golf courses. These are some of the most gorgeous and challenging golf courses you’ll ever play on. The golf course was redesigned by Kipp Schulties in 2015, adding 130,000 cubic yards of fill to create a stunning and unique golf landscape like no other in South Florida.

Meet The Golf Pros

Director of Golf Sean McDermott has been part of the Admirals Cove team since 2001, and a PGA pro since 1993. Sean has a tremendous passion for the sport and has surrounded himself with a team that shares his dedication to making every turn on the links as enjoyable as possible for our members.

Sean is joined by Assistant Director Matt King, who has been with the club since 1999. A former college baseball player, Matt’s passion for golf took over, and he’s never looked back. Matt primarily manages operations in Admiral Cove’s Golf Village, but can be found helping members on every course, east or west.

STATE-OF-THE-ART GOLF PERFORMANCE CENTER

Our new 4,800 sq. ft. state-of-the-art Golf Performance Center features the most technologically advanced teaching equipment and software available in the industry. Members have access to four hitting bays equipped with TrackMan Launch Monitors, Swing Catalyst Force Plate technology, a private room with a Putt View system, full video capabilities, and Simulators in all bays.

PRIVATE TENNIS & PICKLEBALL COURTS

Get your rackets ready for “sports on the courts” at Admirals Cove. We offer challenging play and instruction for all ages and skill levels, as well as an elegantly appointed pro shop with top-tier equipment and designer apparel from FILA, Lacoste, K-Swiss, Lucky in Love, Polo Ralph Lauren, SansSoleil, Wilson and more.

TENNIS COURTS

Our tennis center features ten Hydro Courts, including four with state-of-the-art lighting for tournaments or matches that stretch past sundown. Enjoy league play, tournaments, or boost your game with one-on-one instruction from our resident pros.

PICKLEBALL COURTS

Members at clubs throughout Florida are passionate about pickleball. This exciting and relatively new sport is a fun and challenging game that’s less physically demanding than tennis, and a great way to meet new friends. Eight dedicated, state-of-the-art courts with lighting and a new shaded viewing area for members await, along with personal instruction and pickleball programs.

MEET THE TENNIS & PICKLEBALL PROS

USPTA-certified Elite Tennis Pro Jill Wertenberger is our Director of Tennis. Jill has not only built extremely successful adult and junior tennis programs, but she has been teaching players of all ages for over 25 years. As you might expect, she’s very passionate about the sport, and is dedicated to continuously refining and improving the Tennis programs at Admirals Cove for all ages and competitive levels.

Pickleball Pro Mark Baldinger transitioned to the new sport after more than four decades of competitive tennis play. Mark has won medals at tournaments around Florida, qualified for the state’s senior games (placing fourth) and also serves on the Advisory Staff of Engage Pickleball, one of the sport’s largest equipment manufacturers. Mark loves sharing his knowledge and passion with members who are new to the sport.
